Outreach that starts from the fit, not a template

Most “influencer outreach message” results are swipe files. *Love your content. We’d love to send you our product. Rates?* That email could have gone to anyone, so it is treated like it went to anyone.

Every SocialFuze report ends with a copy-ready first-contact message built from the pairing Claude just scored. The message cites the overlap — niche, audience, content style, a deal shape that would not be embarrassing — because the report already had to justify a 0–100. You paste it into Instagram, TikTok, email, or whatever you actually use. We do not send it for you.

The report (score, reasons, pros, cons, risks, deal ideas, and the message) takes about 15 seconds. It shows on the homepage and is emailed. First report, no account.

Why template generators fail this job

A template site does not know whether a skincare brand and a powerlifting creator share an audience, a value, or a visual language. It only knows {first_name}.

Campaign OS tools (Grin, Later Influence, Influencer Hero, Heepsy bulk send) will let you mail-merge a sequence at scale. Useful after you have a list worth mailing. That is how “influencer matching tool” products — Collabstr, Heepsy, Modash, HypeAuditor — sit next to outreach software: find, then spam.

SocialFuze is the step that makes the first sentence specific:

  1. You name a brand and a creator, or you describe yourself.
  2. Claude scores the pairing and writes the argument.
  3. The closing artifact is a message that could only have been written for those two sides.

If the score is low, the honest move is often not to send a chirpy pitch. Sometimes the useful output is “don’t reach out.”

What the message is based on

The draft is not a second, disconnected “write a cold email” call. It rides on the fit report:

You can run this as a brand pitching a creator or a creator pitching a brand. The homepage tool lets you say which side you are.

What we will not pretend to be

Not an in-app messaging suite. Direct messaging is listed as coming soon on Pro. It is not built. No SocialFuze inbox, no sequence, no open tracking, no “Gia sent 400 DMs.” You copy the text out of the email we send you.

Not a dashboard of past pitches. Sign-up is a waitlist. The dashboard is not ready. If you need a paper trail, keep the emailed reports.

Not a replacement for Grin or Later outreach. If you are scaling 50 conversations a week, you will outgrow one-message-per-report and should look at a real OS — after the pairings you care about have a score.

Not a virtual-influencer generator. AI influencer matching on SocialFuze means matching real people to real brands.

A workable outreach process

  1. Get a name. Instagram search, a rec, a Heepsy export, a Collabstr listing. SocialFuze does not find them. No directory yet.
  2. Score the pair on the homepage. Niche both sides. Audience band. Specifics about what they post. Vague in, vague out.
  3. Read the cons before you copy the message. If the risk is deal-fatigued audience, do not paste a hard sell.
  4. Edit three lines. Add one concrete proof (URL, past campaign, shipping constraint). Remove anything you could not stand behind on a call.
  5. Send it where they actually read. Many creators want email for brand deals and ignore IG DMs; many nanos only see DMs. Pick the channel.
  6. Stop at 3/day on Starter. If you need more reports, Pro is $29/month via Stripe (card required). That is unlimited reports, not an outreach product.

Optional metrics (followers, views, likes, comments, a few best posts) make the report sharper. They are self-reported.

Mandie Jane built this solo (AJB, LLC). Early, on purpose. No “10,000 brands” line. Business support means the founder.

Edit the draft before you send

The model will sometimes be too sure, too flattering, or too long.

Delete any compliment you did not verify. Name the product and the constraint (launch date, US shipping only, no alcohol in the shot). One ask, not three — “open to a gifted unboxing this month?” beats “ambassador / affiliate / 3 Reels / usage rights.” If you are a creator pitching, lead with the audience you actually have. If the score is under ~50, consider sending nothing, or a smaller honest question instead of a campaign brief.

The point of attaching the message to a fit score is so you can see when *not* to talk.

FAQ

Is this an influencer outreach message generator?

It is a first-contact draft attached to a pairing report, not a standalone template generator. You will not get a useful message without scoring (or describing) both sides. Copy-ready, then you edit and send it yourself.

Does SocialFuze send the DM for me?

No. In-app messaging is coming soon, which means it is not built. No bulk sender, no live inbox. Paste the text into the channel you already use.

Do I need an account to get the message?

No account for the first report. Submit the homepage form with your email. The full report, including the message, is emailed. Sign-up is a waitlist for a dashboard that is not ready yet.

How is this different from Grin, Later, or Heepsy outreach?

Those tools find creators and run sequences inside a campaign OS or a database. SocialFuze does not have a creator graph. It writes one specific note from one specific fit score. Use them to scale after you know the pairing is worth it. See Grin alternative.

What if I do not have a creator (or brand) in mind yet?

Use the match-profile tool on the homepage instead of the pairing scorer. You still get written direction and a way to pitch. That is AI influencer matching in the narrow sense: real counterpart, not a generated AI influencer.

How much does it cost?

Starter is free, 3 reports per day. Pro is $29/month for unlimited reports (Stripe, card required). Business is $99/month with founder support. Do not pay Pro for messaging, filters, or a directory — those are not built.

Can I use the message for cold email and Instagram?

Yes. It is text. Adapt greeting and length to the channel. We do not have deliverability tools, warmup, or email finding. Verified addresses are a different product (the databases).
